The mounting plate lined up perfectly with the holes already drilled in my cockpit, no drilling or filing needed. It stiffens up the front of the rig way more than I expected for something this simple. Solid piece for the price.
Bolted this to my rig expecting to fight with the alignment, but it slotted into my existing cockpit profile without any drilling or shimming. The plate feels rigid once torqued down, no flex at all when I'm really working the wheel. Two months in and everything's still tight.
The mounting holes lined up perfectly with my rig's profile slots, so I didn't need any extra brackets or shims. The whole front end feels sturdier now, and it tidies up the cable routing better than I expected.
