Category: Product Type Product

The SimXPro GT-RS is a high-performance aluminium-profile sim racing cockpit created for enthusiast drivers who need greater hardware capacity, rigidity and upgrade potential without moving to a much larger rig. Positioned between the accessible GT and flagship GT-PRO, it delivers an excellent balance of serious performance, included equipment and competitive pricing.

Built around strong 40×80 mm aluminium profiles, the GT-RS provides the stable foundation required for powerful direct-drive wheelbases and high-force load-cell pedals. Its relatively compact footprint makes it practical for a home simulator, while the modular construction leaves plenty of room to develop the setup over time.

Serious Rigidity for Direct-Drive Sim Racing

High-quality aluminium extrusion profiles and hardened steel structural brackets create a rigid cockpit designed to keep the wheelbase, pedals and seat securely aligned. Minimising unwanted movement under steering and braking loads helps preserve the detail delivered by direct-drive force feedback and supports more repeatable pedal inputs.

The steering position, pedal deck and seat placement can all be adjusted around the driver, making it possible to create a comfortable and consistent GT-style driving position.

  • Rigid 40×80 mm aluminium-profile construction
  • Suitable for direct-drive wheelbases up to 20 Nm
  • Profile pedal deck included as standard
  • Support for load-cell pedal forces up to 200 kg
  • Adjustable wheelbase, pedal and seating position
  • Shifter mounting profile included
  • Compatible with all SimXPro sim racing seats
  • Expandable with dedicated single and triple monitor mounts

Wheelbase and Pedal Compatibility

Bottom-Mount and Direct-Drive Wheelbases

The included universal wheel mounting plate supports a wide range of bottom-mounted wheelbases from leading sim racing manufacturers, including Fanatec, MOZA Racing, Thrustmaster, Logitech G and SIMAGIC. With support for direct-drive systems up to 20 Nm, the GT-RS is a strong match for popular enthusiast hardware such as the MOZA R12 and other mid- to high-torque wheelbases.

Drivers using a compatible front-mounted wheelbase can replace the standard wheel plate with the optional SimXPro GT-RS Front Mounting Bracket.

For the complete list of compatible wheelbases, check the Frequently Asked Questions section further down this page.

Profile Pedal Deck

The included aluminium-profile pedal deck is compatible with pedal sets from Fanatec, MOZA Racing, Thrustmaster, Logitech G, SIMAGIC, Heusinkveld and many other manufacturers. It supports load-cell forces up to 200 kg and provides extensive adjustment of pedal position and angle, making it suitable for demanding braking setups and future hardware upgrades.

Seat Compatibility and Driving Position

The GT-RS is compatible with all SimXPro sim racing seats. Compatible bottom-mounted seats can be installed using the supplied extended hardware kit, while side-mounted bucket seats require the optional SimXPro Universal Seat Mount. Add the Universal Seat Slider to move the seat forwards or backwards, making it easier to fine-tune the driving position or share the cockpit between different drivers.

Build a Complete GT-RS Bundle

Configure the GT-RS with a compatible SimXPro bucket or reclining seat, mounting hardware and monitor solution to create a complete simulator from the start. Available bundle configurations make selecting compatible components easier and provide access to bundle pricing.

For a single display, the GT-RS Single Monitor Mount creates a clean, space-efficient installation. The GT-RS also supports the dedicated GT-RS Triple Monitor Mount, allowing the cockpit to become the foundation of an immersive triple-screen simulator.

Who Should Choose the SimXPro GT-RS?

Choose the GT-RS if you use or plan to upgrade to a direct-drive wheelbase between 10 and 20 Nm, want stronger support for load-cell pedals or need an integrated triple-monitor option. Its combination of rigidity, included pedal and shifter mounting, extensive adjustment and manageable footprint makes it one of the most balanced cockpits in the SimXPro range.

Mia H. ★★★★★

Was worried about flex with my load cell pedals but this thing doesn't budge even under hard braking. The aluminium profile slots made adding a shifter and button box dead simple. Two weekends in and it still feels like it'll outlast my rig twice over.

Ellie ★★★★★

The aluminium profile frame is rock solid even with my direct drive wheel cranked up, zero flex. I've already added a second monitor mount and a shifter without needing any extra bracing, which is exactly why I went with this over a cheaper tube frame.

Thomas H. ★★★★★

Once you've got it squared up, the aluminium profile makes the whole thing feel like it's bolted to the floor — zero flex even under hard braking. I've already added a handbrake mount without drilling anything, so the upgrade potential is real. Exactly the solid foundation I needed.
