See exactly what the SimXPro XT160 heavy triple monitor bundle includes, what it leaves out, and whether this triple monitor sim racing bundle fits your build.
Quick answer
Buy the SimXPro XT160 heavy triple monitor bundle if you already own a seat, wheel and pedals, and monitors, and you want the XT160 cockpit plus the black Integrated Triple Screen Setup Heavy in one purchase. Skip it if you need a complete turnkey simulator, because none of those parts are included.
Why the bundle exists: one frame, one mount, one order
A triple-screen rig only works when the cockpit and the monitor mount are designed around each other. Buying the XT160 and the Integrated Triple Screen Setup Heavy separately works, but you carry the risk of mismatched mounting points and two separate deliveries. This bundle pairs them in a single line item, which is the main practical reason to choose it over sourcing parts individually.
The trade-off is commitment: you are buying a specific cockpit-and-mount pairing rather than mixing brands. If you already own a cockpit you like, the bundle adds a second frame you do not need.
The heavy mount is the part that changes your budget
The mount in this bundle is the Heavy version, not the Light setup. That matters for three-screen arrays where monitor weight and leverage put more strain on the frame. It also means the bundle is aimed at a permanent, high-end three-screen build rather than a temporary or lightweight arrangement.
Because the catalog does not list a monitor size or weight limit for this mount, treat that as a decision limitation: check your monitor dimensions and weight against the individual mount listing before ordering, rather than assuming any triple set will fit.
What the price comparison does and does not tell you
The catalog shows a comparison price of USD 1806.24 against a bundle price of USD 1155.99. That is a saving on the two included components, not on a complete simulator. Budget separately for a seat, steering hardware and three monitors, since the bundle explicitly excludes all of them.
Decision rules for the XT160 heavy triple bundle
- You already own seat, wheel and pedals: Choose this bundle only if those parts are already on hand or budgeted separately; they are not in the box. Add up your existing hardware before comparing the bundle price to a full simulator.
- You want a permanent three-screen rig: Pick the Heavy mount bundle when the triple setup will stay assembled; if you need to fold or move the rig often, a lighter or different mount is the better route.
- You are mixing brands: Stay with the bundle if you are starting fresh with SimXPro; if you already own a compatible cockpit, buy the Integrated Triple Screen Setup Heavy on its own instead.
- You have not confirmed monitor fit: Check your monitors against the individual mount listing before ordering, because the bundle catalog does not state a size or weight limit. Confirm VESA pattern and monitor weight first; that check decides whether the bundle is usable at all.
