Discover what comes in the MOZA R9 V3 Ready-to-Race Bundle, including the 9 Nm wheel base, ESX wheel, and SRP2 pedals, plus key buying considerations.
Quick answer
The MOZA R9 V3 Ready-to-Race Bundle includes the 9 Nm R9 V3 wheel base, the 280 mm ESX steering wheel, and SRP2 load-cell pedals—a balanced direct drive setup for Windows PC racers. It saves about 3% versus buying separately, making it a solid all-in-one starting point for road, rally, and GT racing.
Why this bundle makes sense
The MOZA R9 V3 Ready-to-Race Bundle pairs a 9 Nm direct drive wheel base with the 280 mm ESX wheel and SRP2 load-cell pedals. That combination gives you strong, detailed force feedback and consistent braking without needing to research separate components. For many sim racers, this is a sweet spot between entry-level gear and more expensive setups.
Because the bundle is sold as one package, you avoid compatibility headaches. The wheel base, wheel, and pedals are designed to work together, so you can start racing sooner rather than troubleshooting mismatched parts.
Trade-offs to consider
The ESX wheel is a 280 mm round wheel, which suits road and rally driving well, but it may not feel ideal for GT cars that typically use a smaller, flat-bottomed wheel. You can swap wheels later, but that adds cost.
The SRP2 load-cell pedals are a solid upgrade over potentiometer pedals, but they still may not match the adjustability of higher-end pedal sets. If you plan to build a very advanced pedal setup, you might outgrow these sooner.
The bundle is designed for Windows PC. If you race on console, this bundle won't work without extra adapters that may not be supported.
Decision rules for the MOZA R9 V3 Bundle
- Choose this bundle if: You race on Windows PC, want direct drive torque around 9 Nm, and prefer a round wheel for road or rally. The bundle gives you a complete, compatible setup without separate research. Confirm your PC meets the system requirements before ordering.
- Skip this bundle if: You primarily race GT cars and prefer a flat-bottomed wheel, or you already own a wheel base and only need pedals. In those cases, buying components separately may serve you better.
- Consider the price difference: The bundle costs about 3% less than buying the three items separately. If you were going to buy all three anyway, the bundle is the more economical choice. Compare the bundle price with the sum of separate items to confirm the savings.
