The 40x40 caps fit into the 8mm slots with a satisfying click and sit flush, so they don't add any bulk to the frame ends. I ordered two sets to cover all my cut pieces and they've stayed put through a few weeks of light use, no rattling or popping off.
Wasn't sure plastic caps would look decent on aluminium but these fit the 8mm slot profiles tightly and finish the ends off cleanly. Ten in the pack meant I had spares for the next project.
Snapped these onto my 40x160 profiles and they fit the 8mm slot perfectly, no trimming needed. Plastic feels a bit thin but honestly for 10 pieces at this price I can't complain.
